National Meeting of Volunteers
In 2002, Bunge Foundation created the “Comunidade Educativa” (Educational Community), a corporate volunteering program by Bunge Brazil, which aims to contribute to the enhancement of education in public elementary schools, including actions to foster reading, environmental tutoring, musicalization, rescuing of ethical values and others. Since then, Bunge Foundation has performed national meetings to engage the volunteers in this program in moments of integration, exchange of experience, training and socializing.
We developed the identity, the communication pieces and the ambience for the event that reunited around 300 volunteers from the 15 regions of Brazil where the program is present.
I am what I am because of who we all are
Inspired by the Ubuntu philosophy, it represents the awareness that we are shaped by the stories and experiences we share with the people around us – our perception of an individual is given by the relationship we have with our community.
The concept that inside each of us there is a little of everybody else, reinforces some of the feelings in the volunteering, such as collectivity, union, respect, generosity and detachment.
