Encontros de cinema

The program Encontros de Cinema (Film Meetings) has as its main foundation creative process, the film-making process and contemporary trends. The idea is to create a reference place for connections and debate on Brazilian cinema.

The event had a four days schedule, getting professionals and public together to exchange ideas about important matters of Brazilian movie production.

We developed the schedule book, and the visual identity used in all the event parts.

What we did

The brand is presented in different versions where the idea of encounters is represented by the alignment of equal letters creating an encounter.

The aim of the event Encontros de Cinema is to come up with new discussions and idea exchanges between different people and professionals. We draw a visual connection to this concept, in which the union of shapes, colors and letters in the logo variations proposes new aesthetic results in each one of them.

The patterns were inspired by geometric shapes created when blurred lights are captured by camera lenses.
